Now hiring Prepress Technician (Direct hire)
Location Warwick, RI
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Shift: - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with computer-aided design, digital imaging, or print production workflows preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to analyze technical information and troubleshoot layout or file issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Digital prepress or production workflow knowledge.
- Basic CAD or layout software familiarity preferred.
- Quality inspection and proofing practices.
- Logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
- Team collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving production technologies.
Responsibilities: - Review work orders and develop or modify CAD layouts according to customer specifications.
- Prepare files for production by applying masking, color bars, tick marks, and plate identification details.
- Verify accuracy of artwork, layout data, and file formatting prior to plate production.
- Launch digital plate files to imaging equipment and monitor exposure processe s.
- Analyze work orders to determine appropriate press configuration and layout requirements.
- Enter, store, and retrieve data using computer-aided production systems.
- Inspect photographic and digital images for imperfections before plate output.
- Validate layout proofs and combs against production specifications.
- Perform updates, corrections, and revisions to completed plate files as needed.
- Maintain organized digital archives and completed work orders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve layout or production challenges.
