The Hilton Garden Inn Center City Philadelphia is hiring a Front Desk Supervisor. The hotel front desk supervisor oversees daily front office operations, manages guest services, and leads the reception team to ensure high standards of guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Train, schedule, and supervise front desk agents, coordinating work duties and breaks.
• Guest Relations: Handle complex guest complaints, assist with VIP arrivals, and ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
• Operations: Run daily reports, monitor room inventory and assignments, and step in during busy periods or cover night shifts when needed.
• Financial Tasks: Manage cash drawers, audit shift transactions, and verify billing accuracy.
• Department Communication: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address room readiness and guest requests.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality management degree is often preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of front desk or customer service experience, with prior leadership experience.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
